CIRCULAR ECONOMY. CLOSED LOOP SYSTEMS

STSC's aim is to work to a Closed Loop System as closely as possible.​

• When working with a business, we require them to sign our Standards document that addresses a variety of criteria including the consideration of environmental impacts.
   

• The raw materials used are biodegradable, therefore any remnants from the repairs are composted and return to organic matter.
   

• STSC works only with businesses who produce our textiles without using any hazardous chemicals.  Our natural dyes are disposed of with safe consideration to human, animal and ecosytem health.

TRANSPORTATION.

STSC considers its eco-footprint in the shipping of our products and uses "Slow Fashion" methods and time frames when transporting our products to customers.

 

For our domestic couriers we use Sendle, who are Australia's first 100% carbon-neutral delivery service and a certified B Corporation, and where possible, will use DHL International couriers to off-set our freight footprint.

CONSUMER USE STAGE.

Our products do not require dry cleaning and therefore no need for toxic cleaning chemicals.  You may wish to hand wash your items, but they will also hold their shape and colour with cold machine washing and drying away from direct sun.
